Abstract

Howard V. Brown painted 53 covers for Astounding from 1933 to 1938. Part one of Jack Williamson’s serialised space opera, The Legion of Space, appeared in this issue here alongside Charles Fort’s ‘non-fiction’ piece on teleportation, Lo! Hal Salive paid US$65 for this issue.
