William Fitzgerald Jenkins (1896-1975) wrote under the pseudonym Murray Leinster. His serialised novel, The Incredible Invasion, was just one of over 1500 stories, articles, and scripts that he penned over a long career of 50 years. Leinster was not just a SF writer; he also wrote Romance, Western and Mystery novels. This cover was painted by Howard V. Brown.
