Bujold’s novel, Memory, is thought to be her most ‘impressive’ and her SF and Fantasy writing has garnered her five Hugo Awards. American artist Gary Ruddell (b. 1951) had his first SF book cover published in 1981 but has since moved away from the genre into more fine art production. He provided the cover art for this novel.
