Abstract
Two four-month trips took place in 1895 and 1896 during which the Ingolf and its crew made an ‘exploration of the Arctic seas around Iceland and Greenland, zoological collections being the principal object of the expedition’ (C. F. Wandel, Report of the Voyage, volume 1). The expedition party included zoologists, a physicist and a botanist.
