In Typographia Naturalis, a book on the history and technique of nature printing, authors Roderick Cave and Gregory Wakeman have used an actual nature-printed specimen on the front cover. To protect the raised surface of the leaf (with gold spots delicately applied), this quarter-bound leather and paper edition of 330 copies has been issued with a slip-case.
