Description
Verso mount in blue ink: This portrait of Nellie Martha Ross (later Mrs Andrew Jensen) was painted by her father, Thomas Ross, & by Senor Nerli, together at Ravensbourne. She was 14 years old at the time. This would be about 1896. The same two men also painted a similar portrait of Alma Mabel Ross - now held by her son, Charles E. George; label: Palmer Dunedin.
