Label by Dr B.H. Howard: Riwaka Valley. Fox’s viewpoint was on the hillside above Goodall’s farm at the end of the Dehra Doon Road on the south side of the valley near the site on which surveyor Stephen’s house stood. Grid reference, topographical map NZMS 1, sheet S 13 343557. This information supplied by Dr B.H. Howard 28/5/64.
