Description
Two photographs from a photo series on the Queen Mary Maternity Hospital. Upper: Two students in their accommodation playing a board game. Lower: A male student removing the nappy of a newborn baby. The captions read: "The students’ living room, comparatively tidy, and the taipo board: a very poor score, but apparently better than that made by the gentleman standing" (Upper). "In the nursery the students get down to basic principles, and learn that speed is the only basic protection against uncontrolled sphincters" (Lower).
