Abstract
Christopher Whitfield was an English local historian (notably of Chipping Campden) and poet. He turned to H.P.R Finberg, founder of the Alcuin Press to print this limited edition poetry book. In style and purpose, Alcuin Press was the successor to Charles Ashbee’s Essex House Press. It was established in May 1928 in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire. Hard times saw the Press fold in 1936. This is no. 87 of 100 copies.
