The Dunedin Public Library held its exhibition of Dickens earlier this year, just one of the many exhibitions held to honour Dickens in the 200th anniversary year of his birth. The library has a large collection of Dickensiana thanks to A. H. Reed, who greatly admired the writer and assiduously collected his works. Chapter One.
