Kinder Photographs

Description

The Hocken holds the pre-eminent collection of John Kinder photographs in New Zealand. Gifted to the Library in 1922 by the artist's niece, Olga McCurdie, the albumen prints are all of upper North Island subjects and mostly date between 1862-1868.
